How to make different diameters flap discs on same flap disc machine?

 

In flap disc production,to make different diameters flap discs is very normal,because customers need not only 4" flap 

 

discs,they may also need 4",5" or 7",in this case,if you only have 1set flap disc machine,how to do it?Let's take an 

 

example,from 4" to 7":

 

1.When you want to make 7" flap disc,before this machine makes 4",first you need to change core pin from 16mm to 22mm ones.

 

2.Move glue nozzle outside,because 7" flap disc backing pad is much bigger than 4" ones.

 

3.Move cutting head toward outside.

 

4.Change shaping plate and also move shaping bearing also towrad outside.

 

5.Set flap cutting length on control panel.

After everything test ok,you can make 7" flap discs.If you want to produce 5" flap discs or 4.5" one,adjust the machine 

 

accordingly pls.
